Really great read, we all have to do what is right for us in the circumstances that we are living in at any given time. Slow moments can be found and made at any time
I was misled by the idea that I needed to live in a quiet space in order to fully embrace slow living (whether that be a cottage in the woods or a quiet flat in a quiet neighbourhood). But I live close to downtown in a metropolitan city, adjacent to several busy roads, a fire station, a busy promenade, etc. My space isn't quiet, but my life is. And being close to grocery stores, bus routes, etc. have actually helped me to slow down (if only because it makes getting home from the library with a backpack full of books very easy 😄).
It is definitely a state of being rather than a fixed state. I think, like you say, we’ve been so misled and it’s great that we’re finding space amongst the hustle of life
Beautiful post, great explanation. I also live in a busy city but fully embrace the slow living lifestyle. I find it so interesting how I've slowed down more generally too, even just walking to the shops I've realised I'm not basically marching now. More just strolling, so much more relaxed!

Yes absolutely! They are often in those little pockets of time, almost going unnoticed
