Sometimes all it takes is a simple shift
What does simplicity mean? Where can we start? How do we know we're even doing. itright? Let's get into it.
Firstly, welcome. I am so grateful to have you here and I am so grateful to each and every one of your here in my paid community. I don’t take your investment lightly and I am looking forward to diving into slow and simple living. Alongside my Sunday Pause, which I hope you have been receiving in your inbox, The Simple Shift is my weekly premium content just for you. Each week we’re going to dive into something, anything even, just something to do with living slowly, simply, more mindfully and intentionally.
Each of our journeys is different, each of our motives for slowing down and simplifying will look different, and the way we execute our lives will always look different from another’s.
What I hope to create here is a deeper connection; to ourselves, to our lives and even to each other, should you so wish. I want this space to be a community, so feel free to leave a comment, start a discussion, ask questions and connect here. I want to dive into some of those topics that come up for me, for you and probably everyone, and I want to do with more intention and give them the time and space they deserve.
This will be an ever-evolving place and as I said at the beginning of this I don’t take your investment lightly and hope to serve you in a way that is fitting of that.
Why simplicity?
I feel like the best place to start as we embark on this journey together is right at the beginning, and look at why simplicity is become a cornerstone of people’s lives. Where did modern society go so wrong if we’re all reaching for the simple days of the past?
I want to share where my journey began and why everything we go through is so important to our story.
I also want to share what simplicity might look like for you. A common thread throughout these emails and this community, in general, is going to be the idea that we aren’t looking for perfection. We all live wonderfully unique lives and we can apply the knowledge we gain, the tips shared and the topics that we uncover together however it fits us. You will never hear me say that something has to be done in a particular way, and while I will always share my perspective I hope you always know to take what serves you and leave the rest.
